Die gro\u00dfe Ausstellungshalle des Kunstmuseums wurde zur veritablen \u201eCity of the Sixties\u201c, zum Stadtparcours mit K\u00fcnstlerh\u00e4usern, Stra\u00dfen und Pl\u00e4tzen. Zentrale Protagonisten waren Peter Blake, David Hockney, R. B. Kitaj und Allen Jones, wesentliche Mitstreiter Derek Boshier, Gerald Laing, Colin Self oder Joe Tilson.
