The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg is open!
Since the incidence rate in Wolfsburg is decreasing and has been below the threshold of 50 for several days, it is not necessary to submit a test certificate from Thursday, June 3, 2021.
Please note that visiting the exhibition is only possible under the following conditions:
- Wearing an FFP2 or medical mask
- No test certificate is currently required (as of June 3, 2021).

You reach us by taking the A39 via Braunschweiger Straße. The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg is located on the south end of the Porschestraße pedestrian zone next door to the Leonardo Hotel. Parking facilities are located on Rathausstraße as well as in the underground car park directly under the Kunstmuseum, which you can reach via Braunschweiger Straße.
Note: GPS users should enter “Hollerplatz 1” as the destination for the parking facility on Rathausstraße. You select the “Tiefgarage Rathaus“ at Points of Interest (POIs).
Take the 201, 202, 203, 204, 211, 212, 213, 215, 216, 218, 230 bus to the Kunstmuseum. Bus stop: Kunstmuseum
Wolfsburg is conveniently located on the train line Cologne – Hannover – Berlin and can be reached from Hannover and Berlin with the ICE. There is also a train connection via Braunschweig. The Kunstmuseum is located circa 20 minutes walking distance from the the train station.
The closest airport is Hannover-Langenhagen. The S‑Bahn Shuttle direct to the Hannover Main Station takes circa 30 minutes. From there you can take the ICE to Wolfsburg; the trip takes 34 minutes. Travel time between the airport and Hannover Main Station by taxi is about 15 minutes.
