Plan your visit to the Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg!

Here, you’ll find all the essential information for your visit. To ensure an enjoyable and smooth experience during your tour of the exhibition, please take note of the following guidelines:

To protect the exhibits, we kindly ask you to store backpacks, bags, thicker jackets and coats, canes, umbrellas, and similar items in the lockers provided in the checkroom. Small bags (maximum size: 20 x 30 x 14 cm) or medically necessary items may be taken into the exhibitions. In such cases, we reserve the right to inspect the bags. Exceptions include medically necessary walking aids, as well as strollers and wheelchairs. For more details, please refer to our [House Rules], which can be found here.

By car

You can reach us via the A39 motorway, taking the Braunschweiger Straße exit. The Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg is located at the southern end of the pedestrian zone on Porschestraße, right next to the Leonardo Hotel.

Parking is available in the “Kunstmuseum/Rathaus” underground car park (entrance on Braunschweiger Straße, on the right-hand side when heading towards the city centre).

Charging stations for electric vehicles are available in the underground car park. Please note that all parking tickets can only be paid by card.

If you are using a navigation system, please enter “Hollerplatz 1” as the destination address. Alternatively, you can access the car park via the Museums Arcaden.

By bus

Take bus lines 201, 202, 203, 204, 211, 212, 213, 215, 216, 218, or 230 to the Kunstmuseum. Bus stop: Kunstmuseum.

By train

Wolfsburg is conveniently located on the Cologne–Hannover–Berlin rail line, with direct ICE connections from Hannover and Berlin. There is also a regional train connection via Braunschweig. The Kunstmuseum is approximately a 20-minute walk from Wolfsburg train station.

By airplane

The nearest airport is Hannover-Langenhagen. From there, the S-Bahn shuttle takes approximately 30 minutes to Hannover Main Station, where you can catch an ICE train to Wolfsburg (a 34-minute journey). A taxi ride between the airport and Hannover Main Station takes about 15 minutes.
